Terms of Service
Last updated: July 11, 2026
Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MyMedClarity website and application (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Educational purpose only — not medical advice
MyMedClarity is an educational tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnose medical conditions, recommend or prescribe treatments or medications, and it is not a substitute for consultation with a licensed healthcare professional. Any information the Service produces is for general educational purposes and should never be relied on to make medical decisions.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use MyMedClarity. If you use the Service to help a family member or care recipient, you represent that you are authorized to do so.
Your account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us immediately at security@mymedclarity.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your content
You retain ownership of the documents and information you upload ("Your Content"). You grant MyMedClarity a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you (for example, to generate explanations, translations, and summaries). We do not use Your Content to train third-party AI models and do not sell it.
You represent that you have the right to upload Your Content and that doing so does not violate any law or the rights of any third party.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to provide medical advice to others or as part of a clinical workflow.
- Upload another person's medical records without their permission or legal authority.
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that do not belong to you.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
- Use the Service to violate any law or regulation.
AI-generated output
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate explanations, translations, and summaries. AI output may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. You are responsible for independently verifying any information before acting on it. See our AI Disclaimer for details.
No warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYMEDCLARITY AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold MyMedClarity harmless from any claim or demand arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may modify the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MyMedClarity is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
